Area Sales Manager – Construction

JOB TITLE: Area Sales Manager / Account Manager
SELLING: Roof Windows & Sun Lights
SELLING TO: Contractors, house builders and builders merchants (national & independent)
TERRITORY: Cheshire, Staffordshire, Shropshire & North Wales
LOCATION: You must live no further than 30 minutes from the territory
PACKAGE: £34k-£38k basic + £6k year 1 OTE and car, laptop, mobile

THE ROLE:
• A field based territory sales role, both existing account management & new business winning
• Promoting an established range of roof windows and sun lights
• Developing the relationship with an established portfolio of builders merchants
• To raise their product awareness, increase their commitment and of course sales
• Whilst equally creating demand & winning business with contractors, house builders and installers
• All business won and specified will be back-sold through your merchants

YOU:
• Firstly & most importantly you must have field sales experience from within the construction industry
• This could have been gained from either a manufacturer, distributor or merchant
• And could be from within any discipline of the construction industry, light-side, heavy-side, heating & plumbing…
• You will also be dynamic, target driven and ambitious, with excellent communication skills
