We are seeking an Area Sales Manager to work for a polymers specialising in the manufacture of industrial coatings, decorative coatings, binder systems and structural adhesives.
The company is undergoing rapid growth which is based upon an excellent product development strategy and wishes to recruit an AREA SALES MANAGER to sell its technically advanced product to installers/ users and industrial users in THE SOUTH EAST OF ENGLAND.
This is a home and field based role and successful candidates will be expected to be located within the Sales Area which includes, Warwickshire, Oxfordshire, Surrey and West Sussex.
Applicants, who will be graduates with a 2:1 Science based degree preferably in Chemistry/Material Science (Polymers), must be able to demonstrate the ability to successfully sell technically advanced products through customer trials/ demonstrations, and operate effectively at all levels within the customers’ structure. They are also required to provide technical support to the existing customer base. A background of selling formulated chemical systems would be a distinct advantage or a candidate with experience in a technical role with some customer support who is now looking to move into technical sales. The position offers an excellent base salary and the successful applicant will be expected to earn significant additional commission based on an open-ended scheme.
The basic salary is £48,865per annum. A company car together with the usual benefits is provided.
