Job Role – Area Manager – Nationwide Retailer:
The role consists of delivering excellent customer service through direct customer contact on the shop floor.
As Area Manager you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the store management team to ensure that sales targets are met
- To assist the management team in overseeing the daily operation of the store
- Maintain reports and administration
- Key holder
- Cash handling, banking procedures and security
- To demonstrate products to customers, explaining benefits, features, price, quality, value and other information
- Stock replenishment and merchandising
- To notify the management of competitor activities
- To assist the management in co-ordinating, and setting-up special events and promotions
- To recommend/initiate action to enhance productivity, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability
- General housekeeping
- Delivering excellent customer service in line with company requirements
- Health and safety
- Dealing with any customer enquiries
Key Attributes – Area Manager – Nationwide Retailer:
As Area Manager you must have:
- Previous experience in a direct customer facing environment
- Previous retail experience desired
- Previous experience of managing and motivating a team
- Ability to achieve sales targets
- Previous key holding and duty management experience
- Supervisory experience within a consultative environment
- Previous multi site experience
