1-1 Teaching Assistant required in Primary school

This one form – entry Primary school are searching to recruit for a talented Teaching Assistant in Wolverhampton. The school, recently rated Ofsted ‘Good’ strive to provide a fun and unique approach to learning. This full-time role is due to begin immediately after the Easter break and is located within commutable distance to Wolverhampton City Centre.

Your new role

You will be responsible for providing general support across the classroom, assisting learning, and ensuring resources are accessible for students. In addition to this, you will be required to provide focused support for a child with severe challenging behaviour. Strong behaviour management is essential for this role.

What you’ll need to succeed

• Provide in class 1-1 support to a Year 6 student with challenging behavioural needs
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
• Be able to build a rapport and understanding amongst students
• Have strong behaviour management and a secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Support students throughout lessons and help raise attainment levels
• Recent experience within a school setting is essential
