Salary: £39,157 per year

Mencap Retail began in 2016 and we have been growing ever since. With 28 charity retail stores and eCommerce team, we have exciting plans for more new stores in the future.

We are excited to be looking for an Area Business Manager for our East of England retail area, covering stores in Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire.

As Area Business Manager, you will

• Build an effective team, providing training, coaching, development, work reviews and appraisals to paid staff
• Work within communities to maximise mutual benefit around all stores
• Be responsible for achieving targets by ensuring opportunities are maximised
• Develop store systems and promote donations and sales to maximise profits within the area
• Strive to ensure stock is generated from the local communities
• Ensure store compliance with the Gift Aid scheme
• Maintain a high standard of presentation throughout the stores
• Be responsible for all financials and health and safety within the area

This role will close on Friday 25th March and interviews will take place on Wednesday 6th April at our Peterborough office.
