Our client is a fully funded start-up company who are at the cutting edge of innovative payment solutions. They are expanding their reach across Europe and the UK and have an aggressive growth plan.

Due to this growth they are now looking to recruit an Architect – Payments to progress to Chief Technology Officer.

You will currently be working as an Architect or Software Engineering leader with at least 10 years technical experience of product builds within the payments and ideally banking sector. You will bring excellent knowledge of current technologies and emerging trends in order to build leading edge systems.

Key Skills / Technologies:

* Google Cloud

* Dataflow

* BigQuery

* IAM

* Cloud SQL (Postgres)

* Java 11/ Spring

* Key security concepts such as cryptography, authentication, authorization standards, and security protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS, SAML, OAuth, JWT, Strong Digital Signatures and HSM)

* Knowledgeable in Microservices and API security architecture and user/service interaction models.

* Recent working experience with the architecture, design, engineering and security of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Helm Charts, Kubernetes).

Proven experience as an Architect – Payments or CTO with in-depth knowledge of Payments is highly appreciated and you will ideally bring technology start-up experience and an understanding of budgets and business-planning.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior architect with drive and ambition to step into a CTO role and be involved with all aspects of growing the business.

This role can be offered fully remote however travel to the London office will be required.
