Senior Lead Digital Architect / Ecommerce – Solutions Architect

Marcus Donald are looking for a Senior Lead Solutions Architect / Lead Digital Architect with experience of end to end eCommerce/Digital architecture (i.e. design, architect, build and implementation). The successful candidate eCommerce Architect will have profound experience in solution architecture working between internal and external clients and teams to deliver a successful integration projects for eCRM, eCommerce, Retail platform design. Proven and deep experience in this field is essential to secure one of these fantastic opportunities.

Our client is a leading financial services company, you will be over seeing their high profile, flagship digital transformation programme. As the Lead Architect you will be required to be the bridge of communication between CEO, CFO, COO and the team, also to provide IT strategy and architecture direction across group digital and to deliver the designs that enable that architecture to be built.

Essential Skills/ Experience:

– Minimum of 5+ years in a Senior Architect role within a large complex organisation (finance not necessary)
– Liaises between client, management and suppliers gaining trust with clear and consistent communication
– Previous Architecture or Technical Team Lead experience on major E-Commerce transformation projects either at a Consultancy or End User/Retailer
– Has delivered at least one eCommerce solution, through to deployment and go-live, preferably in an agile development team
– Demonstrable experience of leading the initiation of the solution definition and the detailed design production on large scale Digital Financial Projects.
– Experience of some of the following technologies: DataPower, WebSphere range of technologies and BAPIs, Databases, Teamsite, DataPower WAFs, C&W DDOS, HP BSM, Tivoli monitoring, LogLogic and around 70 specific host systems (OCIS, GDW, and many others).
– Experience designing systems handling high volume, secure, financial transactions.
– Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

The successful Architect will be responsible for defining the target architecture and leading a team of Solution Architects. You will have experience of designing robust eCommerce / Digital systems capable of handling high volume financial transactions.

Location: London

Salary: £90,000 – £108,000(D.O.E)
