Architect / Associate – Riba Qualified

INTRODUCTION / JOB DETAILS:

A RIBA qualified architect is required to oversee a fast growing architectural department preparing London domestic planning applications for loft conversions and kitchen extensions working in West London in a bright airy office.

As business continues to increase there is an opportunity to get in at ground level and be part of the future development of the business which, as a market leader in its field, is currently growing significantly year on year. There will be a possibility for part ownership of the architectural side of the business in conjunction with the main business that has an extremely steady income stream to allow the successful candidate the financial freedom to develop other architectural opportunity areas within the vibrant London market.

This post is based in Fulham (SW6) and they are looking for someone who resides within or close to the area.

SALARY:

£36-50k (depending on experience) with opportunity for part ownership/profit share

REQUIREMENTS:

To reside within Fulham or close to the area.

RIBA qualification with the ability to manage all stages of projects with strong technical / working drawing experience

Experience in AutoCAD or similar, and sketch up an advantage

Management of the structural side of the business arranging calculations and overlays

Preparation of prelim plans to enable clients to understand what would be achievable within their home

Good knowledge and experience within the domestic market of planning and building regulations in London

Ability to manage customer satisfaction levels to ensure a high level of customer service is provided and achieved

Ability to assist the project management team with projects, possibly including some site inspections to ensure works are being carried out as specified, within PD or planning

Excellent attention to detail with strong communication skills

A team player with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure

Ambitious, commercially aware and capable of engaging in all areas of the business
