Apprentice Die Maker

A local award winning Redditch company are looking to recruit a hard working and enthusiastic Apprentice to join their highly skilled Die Making Team.

For the right candidate this is a very well paid training position and an excellent opportunity to learn a highly regarded trade.

MAIN FUNCTION
To manufacture ruled dies.

PERSONAL PROFILE
Hardworking, enthusiastic and articulate individual who has excellent hand eye co-ordination.
This Role would ideally suit someone who has a excellent mathematical and an engineering mind.
Also if you are good with woodwork this would be a distinct advantage. Excellent computer skills

The ideal candidate will have experience from school or work related experience within woodwork, resistant materials, construction etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has obtained good grates at school whether GCSE or A Level in Design, Maths, English and design subjects.

The role will be fully explained and all training given and paid for by the company so a strong level of commitment and responsibility is a must.

DUTIES
*Interpret rule patterns prior to programming on STL
*Programme STL system for ADS machine
* Run ACS machine
* Run serviform machine
* Use automatic and hand bending equipment for forming rule
* Us broaching equipment for broaching rule
* Use FBS bender for forming rule
* Use hand cutting, lipping, bridging and bending equipment for forming
* Fit rules into die boards accurately.
