Android Developer (london) Startup

My client a newly formed video start-up are looking for a native Android app developer to join a growing team.

After the success of their iOS app and significant growth and investment planned for 2014 this is a great time for you to join as an Android Developer

The role

You will be responsible for building application and the interfaces from the ground up for both phones and tablets. You will be implementing an SDK based on a REST API, working closely with the UX & UI design teams as well as using automated testing to ensure the quality of code.

Bored of the corporate world? Is the start-up where you work not what it used to be? Then this could be for you! Experience of working in Agile teams, strong debugging experience, Git or Mercurial exposure, RESTful JSON web service APIs, HTTP protocols and/or data transfer strategies would be ideal but not all necessarily essential.

Experience of some (but not necessarily all) of the following would be great: Techniques / APIs such as SQLite Database handling, Content providers and/or multithreaded programming such as Loaders, Asynctasks and/or UI development using Fragments.

Skills:

•Experience of native app development on both phones and tablets

•The successful publishing of at least 2 apps to the Google Play store

•Experience of working in Agile teams, strong debugging experience, Git or Mercurial exposure, RESTful JSON web service APIs, HTTP protocols and/or data transfer strategies would be ideal but not all are necessarily essential

•Exposure to some (but not necessarily all) of the following would be great
