Analyst

A forward thinking financial services company based in the City is looking for a high achieving graduate Analyst. The employer offers exceptional progression opportunities within this successful and fast growing company and the graduate Analyst will benefit from working for an influential market player. We are seeking an exceptional graduate with a First Class or 2.1 degree in Maths, Economics, Business, Physics etc from a Russell Group university.

Requirements for the graduate Analyst:

 First Class Degree or 2.1 in any relevant course

 Strong A levels and GCSE’s including Maths

 Interest in financial markets

 Highly ambitious and strong aptitude to learn

 High focus on attention to detail

 Microsoft office skills – including VBA for Excel and SQL ideally

Duties for the graduate Analyst:

 Monitoring and analysing data to spot trends, sales opportunities and risks.

 Managing granular business forecasting tools

 Working with the Head of Asset Liability Management to learn to run and then operating independently, the company’s core valuation and financial risk measurement systems including stochastic, deterministic and hybrid models

 Arranging and coordinating major decision making meetings including board meetings and executive committee meetings

 Preparing presentations for institutional investors

 Deadline and project management to help deliver high value customer propositions

Salary dependents on capability and experience, to £31k.
