Aircraft De-Icing Operative – London Heathrow

Role: Aircraft De-Icer

* Working as an Aircraft De-Icer you will perform a variety of duties, including aircraft and vehicle cleaning but the main aspect of your role will be to ensure that aircraft & air-side vehicles are de-iced and in condition to operate as normal throughout the winter months.
* Working at heights of up to 40 feet and in freezing conditions.
* Responsible for driving large vehicles air-side.
* Team work required.
* Confident to use headsets to communicate with other team members and the flight deck.
* Operating a variety of de-icing rigs including modern closed cab forced air de-icing trucks.

Contract: Minimum 40hrs per week but flexibility needed to work more hours and when required. Temporary contract from present to End March / Early April 2017. During the summer months you may have the opportunity to work at the airport carrying out other roles such as ramp/ baggage handling or working as a passenger service agent. The right candidate may have the chance to become a permanent member of staff with our client.

Salary: £26,000per year

Must be reliable as you will be required to keep the airport moving during times of inclement weather conditions.

MUST have a full manual UK driving licence

MUST have not lived/worked outside of the UK in the past 5 years

MUST not have any previous unspent criminal convictions or cautions

MUST be aged 18+
