Main Purpose of role:
To service, repair and test air hoist’s and to work within the air systems department to maintain client and company owned equipment whilst ensuring all business needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Main Tasks, Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintenance, servicing/repair and testing of air hoists; multi-disciplined with wide range of makes and models such as Stahl, Red rooster and JDN
• Preparing quotes for Client owned equipment, detailing parts and giving time estimations
• Responsible for ensuring work is conducted in accordance with company procedures and instructions
• Ensure that all jobs are conducted with professionalism and are finished to the highest standards within timescales
• Working with members of team to ensure work scopes are carried out in a safe manner and completing daily activities
• Assist where necessary all staff within the workshop in completing daily tasks, eg cleaning.
• The job holder may be required to carry out any other related or associated roles, tasks or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely

Knowledge, Skills & Experience
• Proven technical experience within a mechanical workshop with SVQ/NVQ level 3 Mechanical discipline and/or a recognised mechanical based apprenticeship would be an advantage but not necessary providing the relevant experience can be proven & demonstrated
• Working knowledge of QHSE initiatives within the workshop
• Communication skills – oral and written
• Self-motivated and working to a high standard
• Computer literate and can read manufacturers technical drawing

Experience
• 5 years + proven technical experience within air hoist industry
