Air Freight Clerk / Air Freight Co-Ordinator

Location: London (N1)

Salary: £24,000 – £30,000

This organisation are looking for an Air Freight Clerk to join their rapidly expanding and forward thinking company.

Based in central London, they have a reputation for excellent customer service and a responsibility for the safe transport of our customers` freight.

Are you fed up of working for a stuffy freight forwarder with antiquated procedures£ Do you want to work for an exciting, invigorating and fresh company£ Are you an exceptional talent with a passion for logistics£

The successful candidate will have:

* At least 2 years experience of airfreight operations
* Absolute confidence to run jobs from start to finish
* Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, both import and export
* The ability to successfully negotiate freight rates
* Excellent computer literacy with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
* A can do, pro-active work ethic

Day to day duties will include:

* Import and export operations
* Liaising with customers
* Negotiating freight rates with carriers
* Expanding our agent network
