Air Conditioning Engineer

A new Air Conditioning Installation Engineer is required for an established company. The AC Engineer will be responsible for installing air conditioning equipment into banks & building societies at sites across Central, Greater London & within the M25.

This ideally could suit an Air Conditioning Technician with around 4-5 years experience and is confident at installing equipment unsupervised & within a team. Due to the nature of AC install projects, engineers are need to work at later shifts (2pm-10pm or possibly 3pm-11pm) as part of the role.

Air Conditioning Installation Engineer Responsibilities –

1. The installation and commissioning of AC and associated equipment such as single, twin & multi splits and vrv/vrf units. Knowledge of BOTH 2 & the larger 3 pipe vrv/f systems is very beneficial!
Experience on the main manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi, Toshiba etc is needed!

Tasks
– Review building plans and specifications to determine the installation location
– Identify required tools, equipment and materials
– Install and commission AC equipment to the design specification, including associated mechanical and electronic components, pipework, ductwork, and cables
– Test systems and interconnecting pipework for leaks

2. Carry out work in accordance with the Company’s standards and policies, site safety rules, and current legislation.

3. To work in cooperation with other trades and labourers to ensure that all specifications, legislation and policies are met, and to ensure efficient completion of any project.

4. Ensure customers are handled in a polite, efficient and professional manner

Qualifications
C&G OR NVQ Level 2 Award in Refrigeration and AC (Preferred)
C&G F-Gas 2079 OT CITB J11 Certificates (Essential!)
CSCS Skills Card
IPAF or PASMA

In return is a basic salary plus 2 hours a travelling a day (meaning a 50 hr week basic) and a salary of £36,000 – £37,200plus some overtime on Saturday’s & Sunday’s.
