Agricultural Service Technician

Are you looking for a change?

Do you have experience of high specification self-propelled sprayers, tractors and most other agricultural implements and equipment? Or do you have experience with large machines such as HGV’s if your answer is YES then this could be the change you are looking for!

You will be Joining a team of highly skilled Service Engineers, who work on Fendt, Challenger, and Rogators.

1/3 of your time will be spent in a fully equipped workshop and the rest of our time will be either out in the field or on site with customers.

Some of things you will be doing is setting up and personalising new machinery before delivery to customers, going out on site for servicing and breakdown. Other duties include but not limited to:

Overhaul and repair of second-hand machines

Finding any faults, ensuring that they are reported and rectified

Servicing of agricultural machinery

*

Working with other team members, sharing knowledge and experience

*

Dealing with any warranty repairs and ensuring that any paperwork relating to a claim is completed correctly

Are you meticulous and self motivated and have excellent communication skills at all levels and have the ability to work alone and as part of a team?

Hours of work: This role is permanent and the working hours will be 8am to 16:30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 15:30pm on a Friday and overtime is available. You will be rewarded with a very competitive hourly that can be negotiated, depending on your experience. Overtime rates are T1/2 and DT
