We’re on the hunt for an enthusiastic self-starter to join our pack and lead our shared user warehouse administration team as an Administration Manager.

You would be working closely with our diverse range of customers to provide high quality levels of service in a fast paced, rewarding, and dynamic modern working environment.

Based at our South Luffenham site, and working 45 hours, Monday to Friday, this is a key role for the future success of the business that offers a competitive salary, along with our Group Profit Share bonus scheme.

Main responsibilities and duties

* Maintain all aspects of the company culture and values within the team

* To lead, engage, and motivate a team of up to 8 administrators, regularly communicating strategic and operational information and manage workloads including task prioritisation

* Actively encourage, develop and support team members, enabling them to realise their full potential by being a role model and consistently demonstrating the behaviours aligned to company values and through training, regular appraisals, coaching and mentoring

* Manage staffing levels based on workload and customer forecasts, including overtime, use of agency staff and recruitment and induction of new team members to ensure low attrition levels

* As a WMS Superuser, provide technical support and guidance to the team to enable them to effectively administer warehouse customer accounts

* Ensure orders are accurately processed on time, communicated to the warehouse and transportation booked, to meet contractual agreements and effectively communicate with customers, providing information and reports as agreed including the resolution of issues rising and answering any questions raised

* Accountable for ensuring that customer invoicing is completed accurately in line with contractual and internal deadlines

* Prepare KPI’s and other internal reports, including payroll information and purchased orders

* Seek best practice, compile procedures and train out to ensure that all administration functions are completed on an accurate and timely basis in line with contractual obligations and stock integrity is maintained

* As a hands-on member of the admin team, providing holiday cover and general assistance to the team

* To work closely with all other areas of the business and suppliers in a professional manner to maximise operational efficiency

* Always Ensuring safe working environment & practises, investigating and reporting all accidents and incidents

* Consciously seek opportunities to strengthen the company’s sustainability levels to minimise the environment impact of the business

Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will be an ambitious, strong manager of people, able to initiate the right actions at the right time to achieve the best results. You will have experience of leading a large team in a busy shared-user warehouse office, within an empowered culture where decision making is delegated, and high performing employees are encouraged to deliver their best work and maximise their potential.

You will need to share our hunger to fulfil, with extensive knowledge of warehouse management systems, stock control processes, customer invoicing and advanced excel skills are also prerequisites for this role.

You must be target driven, able to lead and motivate others, while possessing developed problem solving capabilities, high quality customer service delivery and excellent communication skills. You must have an eye for detail and be able to thrive in a busy office environment with the persistence and determination to drive continuous improvement and to ensure that strict deadlines are achieved, and strategic targets met.
