Job Title: Office Manager
Location: Clapham, London
Salary: £26,400 – £30,000 (dependant on experience)
Hours: Full Time (Monday-Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm)

Job Role:
Our Client is a Building and Maintenance Company based in London who specialises in bespoke building work, loft conversions, extensions, new builds, basements, refurbishments and many more. They take great pride in delivering a professional service of the highest quality. Their client base has grown from ‘word of mouth’ recommendations that have created their excellent reputation and portfolio of repeat customers. They have over 25 years of experience and expertise in the building trade.
They are currently looking to recruit for an Office Manager who will be responsible for supporting company operations by organising and coordinating office operations and procedures in order to ensure organisational effectiveness, efficiency and safety. You will also handle a wide range of administration and executive support independently with little or no supervision. You will deliver exceptional customer service and support the Business Manager.
Ideally, they are looking for an Office Manager who is charismatic, highly organised, structured and has solid sales administration experience. You’ll be working in a fast paced environment so the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines with the duties thrown at you will be ESSENTIAL!
Key Responsibilities:
- General office management duties (dealing with service contracts / accounts, booking in jobs)
- Answering telephone and directing calls
- Taking and making calls to tenants, clients, subcontractors and on site colleagues.
- Receiving client requests and preparing work orders.
- Updating clients on status of works.
- Maintaining continuity of projects by communicating instructions to colleagues both office and site based.
- Keeping information accessible by sorting and filing paper/certificates and E-documents.
- Preparing reports and summarising data.
- Updating databases and ensuring compliance of all operatives.
- Provide daily support to all other members of the team
- Must be target orientated
- PA Duties to Director
- Help with organising company and client events
- Ad-hoc duties when required
Key Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in supporting a busy a team (ideally 2 years +)
- Confidence to take control of the running of the office straight away
- A degree is beneficial but not required
- Good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook
- Ability to multi task and work within given timescales
- Great attention to detail and highly organised
- Confident communicator, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Pro-active and able to work under own initiative
- Candidate MUST be reliable
