Today, operating from our offices in Preston, we help over 1000 people every month to confidently release cash from their homes, significantly growing year on year to become one of the largest lifetime mortgage lenders in the UK.
We have an exciting opportunity for an Actuarial Analyst to join our award-winning business, more2life, to support the Funding Team.
The ideal candidate will be a good multi-tasker and communicator, and will have a keen eye for detail.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Monitor the competitive position of market prices
- Support the rate setting process
- Adapt and run models to answer specific business questions
- Assist across the business where actuarial expertise is required
- Creation of Management reports
- Data analytics
- Liaise with other stakeholders across the business to ensure timely and smooth rate changes
Skills and experience we look for:
- Understanding of later life lending products, including equity release
- Understanding of financial instruments (gilts, swaps, etc)
- Strong maths background
- Able to build strong commercial relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Studied actuarial exams
- Tableau experience an advantage
