Graduate Analyst (Actuarial)

An exciting opportunity to join Capita (FTSE100) as an Actuarial Analyst in London.

Capita’s employee benefits business is one of the largest employee benefits consultancies in the UK; a multi award-winning organisation servicing over 1,200 clients and more than 4 million company employees and pension scheme members

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality actuarial work within the Actuarial Technical Centre.

Responsibilities will include:

Calculations for actuarial valuations or other funding exercises
Specify scope of work and determine data requirements
Specify data and information required for projects and liaise with suppliers of that information
Interrogation of data and pension scheme documents
Calculations for pension scheme accounting (FRS,IAS/US GAAP)
Specification of bases for individual and scheme funding calculations
Programming and running of actuarial valuation systems
Any other core routine tasks that are allocated to the ATC
Designing and running spreadsheet calculations
Drafting report, letters, memoranda and presentations

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Graduate (or equivalent) looking to pursue a career within financial services in a reputable and established consultancy. Strong numeracy and mathematical skills are essential for this position.
