Accounts Receivable & Billing Specialist – 12 Month FTC

Salary: £25 – £30k
About Us:

Your Role:
As the AR & Billing Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the daily billing function within the Accounts Receivable (AR) domain. Your responsibilities will extend to developing and implementing continuous process improvements to streamline the order-to-cash process.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing:
- Execute standard invoice requests with precision, ensuring accuracy in AR and Revenue coding.
- Lead the monthly AR close process, encompassing general ledger preparation, adjustments, journal entries, and reconciliation of specific accounts.
- Investigate and resolve incomplete or inaccurate billing requests by collaborating with labels and business units for timely resolution.
- Process credit notes and allocate them as necessary.
- Oversee dispute/deduction adjustments and manage write-off balances.
- Provide comprehensive support to the Accounts Receivable & Billing Team, including but not limited to, cash collection, customer query dispute resolution, and any other duties directed by the Team Manager.
- Work closely and collaborate effectively with the Credit Control team when required.
About You:
- Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in an accounting role with a high volume of transaction processing in financial ERP systems.
- Exhibit an understanding of internal controls, indirect taxes, and service desk operations.
- Ability to multi task and prioritise projects while working well under pressure.
- Detail-oriented, Self-motivated and extremely driven!
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic and initiative as a self-starter who proactively seeks out new solutions.
