Overview of the Role:
Jigsaw Medical is one of the UK leaders in medical services, offering a range of services for the commercial, media and events sectors. We are split into three clear divisions operating from multiple offices across the North West and we currently have a vacancy for an Accounts/ Payroll Administrator for our finance team.
The role would suit someone who ideally has experience of operating the payroll and raising invoices within the medical or recruitment industry and is an excellent communicator with good organisational skills. The right candidate will have the ability to work with a growing team and have the aptitude to work accurately to tight weekly deadlines.
This is a fantastic opportunity that will include training and development whilst managing your own time and working to your own targets. In the medium to long term you will need to help build the payroll team, therefore this would be ideal for someone wishing to progress to payroll manager.
Principal Objectives of the Role:
• Extract and manipulate timesheet and candidate data from the recruitment system
• Operate the weekly temporary payroll and RTI
• Processing of new starters and monitoring the contracts of employment
• Process and checking of umbrella and limited company invoices
• Ensuring payments are made to temporary workers accurately and on time
• Working with team to make continuous improvements to payroll systems as the business expands
• Raising the weekly invoices to clients for shifts worked and updating these in financial ledgers
• Ensuring that the invoices are paid within terms
• Uploading invoice details onto confidential invoice discounting system
• Assisting with other finance department duties as business grows as required
Personal Experience:
Essential
• Numerate and accurate with an eye for detail
• User of Microsoft Office including Excel
• Experience of operating a payroll system, preferably Sage Payroll
• Good knowledge of current payroll legislation
• Organised with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
• Work to strict weekly deadlines and follow up issues arising
• Confident telephone manner
Desirable
• Experience of processing sales and purchase invoices
• Use of Sage 50 accounting package
• Use of Sage 50 Payroll

Reporting to: Finance Director
Location: Jigsaw Head office, Tarporley, Cheshire.
Hours: Full-Time. Monday-Friday 9am – 5pm
