Accounts Payable Assistant – Entertainment If you’re an Accounts Payable professional looking for a varied role within an exciting and creative industry, this could be a fantastic next step. This opportunity sits within a finance and payroll solutions business that specialises in supporting the TV, Film and Entertainment sector. Working with an impressive portfolio of creative clients, the business has built a strong reputation within the industry and is now looking to welcome an Accounts Payable Assistant into their collaborative and fast-paced finance team. This is a role where finance meets creativity. You’ll play an important part in supporting the accounts payable and wider finance function, helping to ensure supplier payments, payroll-related transactions and finance administration processes are managed accurately and efficiently within a busy environment. To be considered, you should have at least 6–12 months’ finance or accounts payable
experience , alongside strong communication
skills and a proactive, positive attitude.
Responsibilities of
the role include: Processing and reconciling supplier invoices accurately Managing payment runs and authorising payments Completing daily and weekly bank reconciliations Supporting payroll-related payments and finance administration Assisting with PAYE, pension and HMRC-related processes Reconciling payable and payroll ledgers Managing finance inbox queries from suppliers and internal teams Supporting client finance administration and ad-hoc reporting Preparing finance reports and assisting with audit processes Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the wider finance team where needed Candidate Specification: Previous accounts payable or finance administration
experience Confidence working within a high-volume processing environment Excellent attention to detail and organisational
skills Clear and professional communication
skills Good Excel capability A team-oriented and collaborative approach Comfortable managing
responsibilities independently when required
Experience using Xero, Oracle or similar finance systems would be advantageous Payroll exposure would be beneficial but not essential Why this role?
