Accounts Payable Assistant

My Client, a rapidly growing sports media business based in central London are looking for an ambitious Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance function. Key to the role is taking complete ownership of the businesses purchase ledger and assisting the finance manager as required. The Role

My Client, a rapidly growing sports media business based in central London are looking for an ambitious Accounts Payable Assistant to join their finance function. Key to the role is taking complete ownership of the businesses purchase ledger and assisting the finance manager as required. The Role

• Post all supplier invoices and staff expense claims accurately
• Ensure all expenditures comply with company policies and procedures, and follow up with individual staff members to ensure compliance with policies.
• Ensure Purchase Order Register is kept up to date and accurate
• Ensure credit card transactions are analysed and posted accurately and on time.
• Ensure correct VAT treatment of all purchase ledger transactions.
• Prepare supplier reconciliations as required.
• Perform ad hoc analysis as required.
• Resolve queries from suppliers.
• Assisting the Finance Manager as required.

The Person

• Previous experience working in an accounts payable role
• Ideally a degree in a Finance related discipline
• Strong communicator and a keen interest in Sport
