Accounts Payable analyst – account payable, analyst, purchase to pay analyst purchase ledger analyst

You will assist the Purchase ledger manager in the development and implementation of a consolidated and efficient Accounts Payable function, with particular focus on a review of transaction processes, supplier statement reconciliations and communications both internally and with suppliers.

• To work with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and AP team to review the processes for transitions, supplier statement reconciliations, and communications, identifying and implementing process improvements where appropriate
• Propose processes ensuring that all activity is efficient and that work is carried out at the right level
• Agree and communicate proposed and agreed changes to business leaders where there are business impacts, as well as to the AP and Finance team
• Scope the impact of any proposed changed and agree with key stakeholders
• Implement the proposed changes ensuring that all changes are captured/ documented

  You will need previous purchase ledger experience along with a demonstrable experience of process improvement around transactional processes and reconciliation.
