Accounts Clerk Study Support

My client, an IT business in Manchester, is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Accounts Clerk to help with the day to day running of the finance department.

Based with luxurious city centre offices, this is an exciting opportunity for a candidate at the beginning of their accounts career. You will be provided with full study support towards your AAT as well as flexible working hours around exam periods.

It is important that you possess a determined attitude and are committed to developing your skills in a well-known business.

You will be supported by six other members of the team, and report into a supportive Accounts Manager on a frequent basis.

You will be provided with full training in:

* Preparing full sets of accounts
* Learning all aspects of the Sales and Purchase Ledger
* Using Excel and accountancy packages such as Sage
* Liaising with clients and building strong relationships
* Getting involved in month-end duties

Ideally, you will have:

* Previous accounts based experience
* Began studying towards your AAT
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
* Willingness to develop your skills and progress within a reputable company
* Long-term interest in pursuing a finance career
