Accounts Assistant

A leading restaurant group based in London is looking for an Accounts Assistant to support the
Group Financial Controller in all aspects of monthly accounts. This will include cash book, purchase, sales and general ledger work and payroll leading to the preparation of management
accounts against very tight deadlines. You will also be involved in assisting with yearend audit preparation and monthly stock taking.

As the Accounts Assistant you will have the opportunity to start getting involved in budgeting and business planning and this should be viewed as an excellent development opportunity for the right candidate. It is thought, over time that this role can develop into an Assistant Financial Controller and beyond.

The ideal Accounts Assistant will have the following:-

– Experience of Sage line 50
– Good systems experience overall
– Knowledge of the food and drink sector
– A solid grounding in all round monthly accounts
