Harvey John is working closely with a well-established, independent business based in Eastbourne on sourcing them an Accounts Assistant to be a valued member of their finance team. This is a new vacancy that has arisen in-line with company growth which will involve supporting the Finance Manager and Finance Director with a variety of accounts administration duties. They are looking for a capable ‘all-rounder’ to assist with purchase ledger, sales ledger and general bookkeeping duties.

This is a busy finance function where this individual will find they always have plenty to do. The focus here is on team work and everyone in this department supporting each other to reach shared targets and deadlines. The company in general has a notably friendly and welcoming feel about it and is managed by a very hands-on senior management team who care about their staff and bring good business acumen and direction, alongside a sense of humour, to the organisation.

Candidate requirements:

• Bright, enthusiastic self-starter who is ready for an engaging and busy role.
• Relevant existing accounting experience at the Accounts Assistant level.
• Good It skills including Excel.
• Professional communication skills.
