This role involves the maintenance and management of financial ledgers, including all functions of accounts payable.

Client Details

This is a Purchase Ledger position for an accountancy business where you will be reporting directly to the Head of Finance, based in the London Head Office on a full time basis.

The key requirement of this role is to build relationships both internally and externally, this is key to the success in this role and therefore strong inter-personal and communication skills, spoken and written are essential.

Description

This Accounts Payable Assistant position will involve:

  • Processing payable invoices

  • Preparing of Bi-Monthly BACs and Euro payments
  • Paying invoices
  • Responding to supplier queries
  • Direct debit invoices
  • Closing Month end
  • Preparing revenue invoices
  • Collecting debtors
  • Ensuring employee expenses and credit cards are coded correctly
  • Ad-hoc duties

Location: Central London

Profile

The ideal Accounts Payable Assistant will be:

  • Accurate in data entry

  • Posses strong organisational skills

  • Manage workload effectively

  • Accuracy and efficiency in data entry

  • Strong organisational skills and able to manage workload and work independently to meet wider team/group deadlines and requirements.

  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills, spoken and written are essential

  • Prior exposure working in an Accountancy role would be beneficial
