Accounts Apprentice

Salary: £26,000 per year

Our client is a growing and well-established business based in Peterborough who are currently seeking an Accounts Apprentice. This is a good way to learn and gain experience in a busy finance environment whilst also having the support needed during studying.

You will be naturally inquisitive with an analytical approach to financial matters within the business. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy are essential in this role. Candidates should have a proactive approach with a ‘can do’ attitude, with the ability to identify and solve problems in a considered manner.

Duties will include:
• Bank reconciliations
• Posting Basic Journals
• Inputting monies collected from clients into system
• Inputting invoices from suppliers into the system
• Checking supplier statements and answering queries from suppliers
• Issuing refunds

The entry level salary will be supported by full funding towards AAT qualifications in an environment best suited to gaining the practical experience from a number of well qualified colleagues.
