Accounting Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounting Manager to join a market leading US Business on an ongoing temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for overseeing Swedish and Latvian legal entities
• Assist the Senior UK Accounting Manager with the UK Legal entity, including Balance sheet reconciliations, Profit and Loss analysis and implementing improved processes and controls
• Primary reviewer for AP and employee expense payments for all legal entities
• Working knowledge of international and US GAAP
• Ability to manage and streamline 3 day close
• Maintain compliance for local Statutory accounting and local VAT liaising with Local accountants for Sweden and Latvian entities
• Ensure monthly compliance with Company SOX controls requirements
• Co-ordinate monthly and quarterly flux analysis
• Prepare Cash Flow Forecast
• Oversee daily JV settlements
• Manage multiple I/Co billing and settlements
• Assist with the mentoring and development of AP and Cash team members under UK entity
• Ad-hoc requests relating to Swedish, Latvian and UK entities

The ideal candidate for this role will have successfully proven history in a similar role. Excellent organization, and written communication skills will be essential. Ability to work under pressure, priorities and adhere to tight deadlines will be desirable.
