World Leading Global Energy Trading Company has an exciting opportunity for an Accounting and Finance Graduate to gain exposure within a fast-paced global environment.

The role is contract, however there are vast Networking opportunities and offers the chance to gain a ‘foot in the door’ in a global Oil and Gas Company. It also boasts an excellent team environment and hands-on training.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure month end processes are carried out accurately and completed within deadlines
• Capture costs of all maritime projects by providing monthly cost breakdown for vessels to Finance Ship Advisors
• Resolve queries from auditors regarding vessel costs and bookings
• Invoice consultancy costs and investigate payment status
• Input journal and accrual entries into SAP
• Distribute cost recovery documentation to internal/external companies, liaising with project managers
• Maintain effective and appropriate systems and procedures, identifying opportunities for enhancements and ensuring ongoing SOX compliance.
• Strictly adhere to all relevant controls; ensuring daily tasks are performed in line with service standards and KPI’s

About you:

• High calibre graduate (2:1 or above)
• Ideally a Finance degree but will consider other similar degrees
• ‘Get up and go’ attitude

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
