We are looking for a part time Accountant/Bookkeeper to carry out the following:
- Bank reconciliations
- VAT calculations
- Print trial balances
- Accruals and prepayments
- Maintain fixed asset register
- Year end statutory accounts and liaise with auditors
- Liaise with HMRC – Tax, VAT, national insurance
- Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with monthly annual budgeting and forecasting
The successful candidate will be based at one of our client’s sites in Solihull working as part of the accounts team. Being local to this area is advantageous but not essential.
The successful candidate will:
- Be immediately available
- Be mathematical, Finance orientated
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills
- Have excellent IT and Excel skills
- SAGE & Xero experience would be beneficial
