Account Manager / Winter Office Manager

£26k-£28k + Bonus.

Our Client is proud to be one of the UK’s largest, and longest established privately owned winter maintenance contractors. They own one of the most extensive and comprehensive fleets of gritting vehicles and ancillary equipment currently available in the UK.

They are currently looking to recruit an Account Manager within their team.

You will have the overall control of the winter Maintenance Sector of the business. This entails:

• Planning vehicles, drivers and depots/sub-contractors to cover for the whole of the UK for gritting and if needed snow ploughs and road sweepers

• Ensure the drivers are all well-equipped and ready for the night they have ahead, preparing electronic paper work, pens and telephones through a bespoke computer system

• Preparing the correct amount of vehicles and grit for the night

• Tracking checks for any sub-contractors used

• Ensure that all customer requests are complete and if not to follow up with the sub-contractors

• During any quite period visiting new and existing customer to gain extra business

We are looking for experience in an account management role ideally with a service sector company.

Hours Flexibility is needed to cover weather conditions in the winter months.
