Account Manager – Pr Agency

We are seeking a PR Account Manager to join us in our expanding, fresh thinking PR agency based in the beautiful town of Dorking, Surrey. This is a unique opportunity for a Public Relations AM to work on exciting campaigns with the prospect of some worldwide travel.

Working with some major clients in the technology industry, we are a rapidly expanding integrated PR, social marketing and communications agency. Employing a small and growing team and based just an hour away from Waterloo (Dorking) they now need a PR savvy Account Manager to join the team.

Joining a team of 3 and reporting directly to the Client Services Director, you will be managing the PR functions of a significant global brand in the Engineering / Manufacturing sector. Expect to be involved in the creation, implementation and maintenance of a PR strategy for the client and give PR support at major industry events around the world.

To qualify… We need an enthusiastic and bright PR Account Manager with a CV that shows:

• Minimum 2 years experience of agency side PR
• Experience of managing B2B clients
• Must have experience of working in the Energy, Manufacturing, Engineering sector
• Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proactive attitude and good at reacting to and solving problems/issues;
• Excellent strategic and analytical skills;
• Ability to coordinate and manage interviews for high profile industry leaders;
• Self-motivated team player with a focus on pulling together to get the job done;
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task;
• Project management skills;
• Understanding and experience of social media;
• Proven track record in account management and client relations;
• Ability to spot business development opportunities and network effectively to grow existing client revenues
• Ability to handle change and adapt to rapidly changing situations.

Salary £30,000 – £38,400negotiable depending on experience.
