Account Manager Godalming c50k plus bonus

Provide high quality account management and support to customers that have purchased the company’s services and recruitment to clinical trial services.

The nature of this support will differ subject to each customer’s own needs, but is likely to include or require, at minimum:

The ability to explain complex data/information so that it can be used for business analysis

Introductory and follow-up training on the services for different groups within a customer organisation

The provision of insight reports for use at management and board level

The Account Manager will assist customers to interpret the impact of the service

Work as part of a team to maximise customer satisfaction and Business Development Team

The Account Manager will work closely with service development colleagues, providing feedback and support on specific company products for both internal and external customers

Job Purpose:

  • To create customer satisfaction that drives brand loyalty, renewal of current tools and the opportunity to upsell other company services

Key Duties and Main Responsibilities of the Account Manager

  • Developing an expert knowledge of the company services; maintaining this knowledge as improvements are made, new services launched or datasets included
  • Working across all areas and levels of the current pharmaceutical customer base, able to travel as required by the business
  • Supporting these customers in their use of the company services, delivering training for different user groups when required
  • Providing monthly impact reports;
  • Working towards quarterly and annual customer re-sign targets at national and European level
  • Identifying and maximising opportunities to sell in additional support time, as well as tools and services where appropriate
  • Carrying out bespoke pieces of business development work as required
  • Generally assisting the Business Development team.

Essential

Experience of working in the Pharmaceutical Sector

Experience of working with pharmaceutical customers external to your organisation, whether in a sales or support role

Proven track record of success in cross-selling, up-selling, out-selling.

Analytical skills including being able to produce and interpret data

Excellent communication skills – 1;1, group presentations and written

Science degree or equivalent

Salary 40-60k plus bonus.
