Account Manager – Life Science Consumables

TERRITORY: West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Worcestershire, Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Dorset, Avon, Wales

PRODUCTS: Life Science consumables

CUSTOMERS: Biotechnology, diagnostic, contract manufacturing, pharmaceutical and healthcare laboratories.

PRICIPLE TASKS:
Revenue and margin growth of territory in line with company expectations. Responsible for day-to-day account and business development.
Business portfolio is a mixture of new and existing – 70% of the candidate’s time will be spent developing existing business.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
– Life Science degree
– Preferably at least 2 years experience in a life science laboratory sales based role
– Knowledge of the Laboratory industry preferred, experience of consumable sales also an advantage
– Self-motivated and resilient, enthusiastic, articulate with the ability to listen to others, and well presented.
