The Company
Our client has been offering IT and Network Management Solutions for over 30 years. Due to continued expansion our client is looking for experienced Account Managers based in London or the Home Counties to handle key clients and some business partners to help drive growth via channel partners and end users.
The Role
The purpose and remit of the Account Manager – IT and Network Management Solutions role:-
* Generate sales by building a pipeline of sales opportunities inside existing customer and business partner channel.
* Identify prospects and generate appointments by phone, arrange meetings where you can sell and negotiate profitable new business.
* Manage a virtual team of people within the company to help you close complex sales.
* Sell a mix of Managed Network services and Consultancy / Professional services.
The Candidate
The Account Manager – IT and Network Management Solutions key skills and experience will include:-
* Must have a degree and a minimum 2 years’ experience selling professional services in the Managed Network arena.
* Ability to sell at C-level, proven track record of success in sales and excellent Account Management skills.
* Must have sold consulting or professional services and be able to develop solutions showing TCO and ROI for clients.
* Knowledge of Cisco or Avaya or Meraki in an enterprise environment is essential.
* Experienced in solution sales and capable of complex account management.
* People with a positive attitude, and the aptitude and energy to pick up the phone in order to succeed.
* Team player, with the ability to manage a virtual team within the company to help them manage and close complex sales.

In return the Account Manager – IT and Network Management Solutions will receive an excellent package including £72k basic salary plus £144k uncapped OTE.
