Our client, a marketing agricultural business based in Lincolnshire are looking to appoint an Accounts payable Team Leader.

The successful candidate will ensure all payments for the business are produced accurately, within the specified time schedules and conform to all legal and audit requirements. They will liaise regularly with all areas of the business to ensure the AP department facilitates a first class service to the business.

Role and responsibilities
• Ensure all processes are maintained within the AP section including payments and invoice logging/approval
• Run month end process for both AR and AP accounting ledgers
• Efficient resolution of internal and external AP queries
• Liaise with Internal and External customers to ensure the AP department delivers excellent service
• Evaluate and execute training requirements within the AP team
• Ensure timely delivery and completion of Performance Development Reviews
• Daily supervision of AP team including all people management
• Organise, plan and run; section meetings, 1-1 meetings for AP team
• Develop process to incorporate feedback from customers and ensure we are providing the best possible service.

Requirements
• Previous Supervisory experience
• Experience of working within a financial environment including knowledge of BACS, TT and cheque payment processing
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritise, meet deadlines and make informed and balanced decisions
• IT literate including MS Office

Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
