Account Manager – Furniture / Bedroom Sector

FWG Sales Limited, based in Chester, is looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager into its expanding team. Specialising in beds, bedroom furniture and mattresses, this fast growing company, supplies a range of products to some of the UK’s largest retailers.

It is now looking to recruit an Account Manager to look after one of its key accounts based in Liverpool. This role will be responsible for all aspects of the day to day running of the account and will work closely with the senior team to deliver a smoothly run account as well as maximise further opportunities.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Manage the day to day relationship with the customer
• Focal point within the organisation for all outstanding issues on the Account, leading the resolution of outstanding issues
• Organise regular updates and develop strong working relationships both internally and with the customer’s team
• Support sales/new product opportunities
• Support internal sales/budgetary process
• Ensure that all customer reporting requirements are up to date and issues escalated where required
• Maintain at all times effective communications between FWG and the customer
• Raising Purchase Orders with Overseas factory base and Invoices within required systems

Skills & Experience

• in Account Manager role(s)
• Excellent communications skills and strong attention to detail
• Self motivated
• Experience of importing and container shipping processes
• Good Excel and Powerpoint skills
• Driving Licence

Salary and Working Hours

• 9am to 5pm
• Chester based frequent travel to Liverpool
