We are looking for a Field Based Account Manager who has a background from within Construction Industry. The company is a national provider of aggregates and cement products and they require someone to manage the accounts and new business in the West Yorkshire Area.
Key Tasks
To fully understand the range of special products and where they are beneficial to our customers for a range of applications and promotion thereof.
Promotion of special products to both end user and specifiers through presentations, demonstrations and on site trials
To actively promote services alongside products to obtain maximum value for both customer and the Company.
To construct and update local customer action plans
Implement customer segmentation
Implementation of local customer action plans
To develop an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of the market, including competitor activity.
Identifying and securing opportunities to grow the customer base by developing the commercial relationship with present customers and bringing new customers to the
Manage the building and maintaining relationships with all relevant contacts at each customer account to which they are designated lead representative
Controlling and influencing the commercial relationship with customers ensuring all involved are kept fully informed
When appropriate managing projects/contracts from initial plan or enquiry through to a successful conclusion
Identifying and meeting the needs of customers by offering advice, support and problem solving
Securing orders to target levels of revenue, profit and value from existing or new customers
To liaise closely with Customer Service Representatives – Sales to ensure excellent sales coverage in our given markets
Candidates will need to have worked within the construction industry
