Job Title: Head Office Account Manager

Location: Potters Bar

Salary: OTE circa £42,000 to £60,000 (salary + competitive performance related bonus), dependant upon experience

THE ROLE:

Specific Duties Include:

* To write good quality business in order to achieve or exceed agreed sales targets, with business being spread in terms of both products and IFAs;
* Establish, develop and maintain strong relationships with IFAs by using both a proactive approach and by following up on leads, in order to build quality, long term business relationships and foster new business opportunities;
* To proactively work within the Distribution Team to enhance the sales process and increase sales opportunities with targeted IFAs;
* To develop good working relationships with internal departments (CL International, Marketing, Sales Support, Compliance and Customer Services) in order to enhance the companies offering and the sales process.

Who are they looking for£

A driven and motivated individual who has experience of working in a customer facing sales role, ideally within a centrally based sales environment.

The successful applicant will have an ability to build and develop excellent working relationships with external customers as well as with individuals and departments within the company, and should be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the Investment, Estate Planning, Collectives, Annuity and Protection markets. Ideally

It would be useful for the successful candidate to have experience of Life Assurance Investment Bonds and OEIC`s/Unit Trusts.

Skills Required:

* Progress towards the Diploma in Financial Planning is preferable;
Qualification to this level is required within 30 months from the date of appointment;
* Good knowledge of all products, processes and procedures relevant to a sales team operating in the aforementioned markets;
* Able to deliver consistently high proactivity levels with all IFAs on panel, predominantly through telephone but also using email and face-to-face contact as required;
* Able to run regular, focused campaigns on a range of products as part of the overall distribution strategy;
* Able to organise work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
* Able to work on own initiative and to agreed targets by prioritising and planning;
* Knowledge of the sales process to enhance sales development;
* Knowledge of the sales regulatory framework;
* Working knowledge of sales systems;
* PC literate.
