The key focus of the role is to develop and maximise opportunities within our clients existing customer base. The ideal candidate will possess, and be able to demonstrate the ability to develop robust relationships at the most senior level, be an advocate for the Customer within our client and deliver project and software growth.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential, in conjunction with a drive to succeed and protect customer satisfaction. Experience in sales of Capital items and installation projects with repeat maintenance streams is highly desirable.
This position is based in Durham and requires a willingness for UK and overseas travel.
The role
·Understand the clients business well
·Develop robust relationships at the most senior level
·Develop and sell projects to increase our footprint
·Be an advocate for the client within our client, alongside Customer Service Representative (CSR)
·Capable of owning and managing adverse situations
·Protect a maintenance stream
·Work with the CSR to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction
Ideal candidate background
·Likely to be an experienced Development manager for an SME client base
·Has sold projects with a Capital, installation ( towards complex) and maintenance profile
·Has protected a maintenance stream in tandem with positive customer satisfaction
·Able to understand the clients business and developed senior relationships
·Not necessarily from the Software industry, but must have a strong technology aptitude.
