Account Manager – Accountancy Practice
A well-established, family owned Chartered Accountancy Practice in Birmingham is recruiting for an Account Manager to join their friendly team. This job involves the responsibility of managing a portfolio of clients. This is a full time, permanent position with an immediate start. The candidate will be required to go into the office 5 days a week.
Hours: Mon – Fri 9am – 5:30pm
Salary range: £30,000 – £36,000
Responsibilities to include:
* Preparing SME financial statements (sole trader/partnerships & limited companies)
* Completing self-assessment and corporation tax returns
* Completing VAT returns
* Good communication skills (as liaising directly with clients)
* Liaising with HMRC and other relevant regulatory bodies when required
* Proficient in SME bookkeeping software: Quickbooks and Xero
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in accountancy practice
Requirements:
* Knowledge of using IRIS accounting & tax software
* Full UK driving license with access to own transportation (for client meetings)
* AAT qualified or above
