Our Client in Exeter requires a target driven and self-motivated individual to join the Territory Sales Team as an Account Manager, covering South Devon.
As an Account Manager combined with the Account Indoor Sales Executive you will be responsible for:
Meeting and exceeding sales and business targets
· Planning and preparing for sales visits to both existing and prospect customers to ensure relevant products and services can be provided
· Attending face to face customer visits to appropriate contacts for both existing and prospect customers
· New business generation
· Develops existing customers through up-selling and or cross selling
· Networking within the local market to identify prospect accounts
Customer relationship management
· Form working relationships with customer organisations through face-to-face meetings to meet customer needs
· Establish professional relationships and open communication with other relevant functional areas
· Provide a channel of communication between their clients and it’s customers, ensuring they are updated with relevant information and reports
· Perform follow-up visits to evaluate service levels and product offering
· Providing a flexible solution to our customers needs
Sales administration
· Completion of sales reports within agreed timeframes
· Completes and updates customer information and documentation as required by the business
· Review sales performance and prepare presentations as necessary for sales meetings
Interpreting commercial/sales reports in order to maximise and improve customer relationships
Preferred experience and knowledge
Proven face to face sales experience preferably though not essential with a Logistics industry background
Proven track record of achieving individual sales targets
Organisational awareness
Understanding of supply chain principles
