TITLE: Account Manager
PACKAGE: £36K Basic +£7K OTE, expensed company car, laptop, mobile phone
TERRITORY: Yorkshire, Nottingham, Lincolnshire (field based role, ideal locations: York, Leeds, Harrogate, Wakefield, Sheffield, Hull, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Lincoln)
SELLING: Quality driven range of branded DIY and interior products and accessories
SELLING TO: An established network of national trade re-sellers, distributors, merchants and stockists.
ROLE:
The Account Manager role is;
– Field Based, territory management role – 90% account management, 10% new business development.
– Selling a high end quality driven range of branded DIY and interior products and accessories
– Taking responsibility for managing an existing network of national trade re-sellers, distributors, merchants and stockists.
– Liaising with the company’s national accounts team on sales strategy.
– Utilising the in-house CRM system to track customer performance.
PERSON
For the Account Manager role no product knowledge is needed, but our client needs;
– A professional and structured approach
– Autonomous and highly organised
– Experience and ability to self-manage and plan own territory
– Adaptable and dynamic
– Strong communication skills – able to work alongside a number of different teams
