Job Description
FTH Hire Group is one of the largest and fastest growing independent plant and tool hire companies in the UK, with ten depots across the South of England and Scotland. As a result of our ambitious growth plans, we are looking to add additional high calibre people to our growing business.
The Account Manager role provides a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the ongoing success as the business continues an exciting growth plan. This is a pivotal role within each of our local markets and provides opportunity for both developing existing accounts and new business development contribution as we look to further strengthen our market presence.
A background in the hire sector would be advantageous although not necessary, experience within a sales development environment role is essential.
Main Responsibilities
ยท Oversee, manage, and develop a defined portfolio of existing customer accounts through outbound sales activity
ยท Manage the growth and development of company key accounts in line with business growth goals
ยท Provide point-of-contact resource to support both existing and newly acquired customer enquiries
ยท Identify new business opportunities within local territories and work with the local and regional team to secure new business wins in line with company sales goals
ยท Undertake and generate company sales performance reports as required to local management group
ยท Provide resource across inbound call management and customer enquiries and requests
ยท Obtain and manage hire enquiries and orders
ยท Research, develop and deliver customer account proposals and agreements
ยท Support and achieve delivery of sales growth targets for all FTH products and services
ยท Manage orders at the trade counter when required
ยท Manage hire contracts in line with company standard
