Account Manager – £30k + Double OTE

Our client is one of the fastest growing managed services and hosted communications providers in the UK. They provide customers an all in one supplier solution combining telecoms, hosting and IT support services. With offices based in Derby accessible by fantastic travel links they provide businesses with cloud based infrastructure, connectivity and voice services. They are experiencing a period of growth and are offering fantastic training and career development for the right candidate!

Our client is now seeking an individual with experience in a similar IT background to join their team as an Account Manager. Looking after around 50 – 60 key accounts, the role would involve being the first point of contact for customer, taking inbound calls growing revenue in the Account.

Your job would be to build relationships with these customers and provide a timely solution to their call, whether that be booking in an appointment for a field sales individual to attend or escalating any fault or failure issues to the Service Managers. You would also be asking fact finding questions to customers who wish to place an order and advising them on the best products and services to use to service their needs.

You will be an integral part of the team and will be the first point of call for the businesses most profitable customers. The overall objective of the team is to drive these business relationships forward making them more profitable in the future.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a knowledge of and a keen interest in IT and have the capacity to learn a highly technical product range. Good customer service skills and telephone manner is essential for this role and experience of account management in a managed services or channel sales environment is very advantageous.The right individual will be able to take on lots of technical information and have a desire to build themselves a successful career.
