NFU Energy is one of the UK’s leading energy consultancies, specialising in the farming sector. Our Energy Systems & Projects team work primarily with farms that generate electricity or have renewable heat systems, from simple biomass boilers to big, combined heat & power installations and solar parks. We provide a holistic service including feasibility, energy trading, incentives, compliance and more.

We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced relationship manager to join our busy team. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of our clients with complex energy requirements, building and maintaining great relationships with them and drawing on resources from across our business to ensure that we deliver the best possible service.

Candidates should have experience of working in the energy sector, ideally in the fields of compliance, embedded generation or renewables, or be able to demonstrate technical aptitude and the ability to understand complex requirements quickly. You must have a strong history of working directly with customers and colleagues to deliver projects and ongoing services.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

·Client relationship management: building long-term relationships with key clients
·Responsibility for overseeing the timely delivery of routine client tasks, carried out to the highest standards
·Project management and communication: creating project plans and managing progress

To succeed in this role you will have:

·At least 3 years in a customer-facing role, building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients
·Experience of working in the energy industry
·Experience of project planning and management
·Strong commercial sense and the ability to understand requirements, propositions and value

You will also need to:

·Be a quick learner and have strong proven problem-solving abilities.
·Be a confident and effective communicator, able to quickly adapt to the needs of your audience.

In return you will receive a salary of £32,000 to £40,000 depending on experience, 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays), plus company benefits including pension, group life assurance (3 times salary), NFU membership and more. You will be based at our office in Stoneleigh Park, Warwickshire, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
