PREMISE OF THE ROLE
The company’s management team has more than 30 years’ experience in the vehicle advertising sector and, as such, they are market leader, with a wide portfolio of blue chip and grass-roots advertisers.
The media sales team are all experienced in selling outdoor media, and many have been with the company for a number of years. They are now looking to grow this team by adding both junior and senior members who are keen to work in vehicle advertising, a challenging, well-established and rewarding sector of the diverse Outdoor industry.
New account managers will be thoroughly trained in all matters, and, where necessary, Outdoor; but account managers are expected to learn quickly, ask questions and show initiative. New team members are usually bringing in their first deals at around the three month mark.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
To join the team you will need…
- At least two years’ experience working in media sales (preferably within Outdoor)
- A good understanding of the Outdoor media industry
- A good profile within major London media agencies
- A proven track record in dealing with blue ship clients and their agencies
- Excellent negotiation skills and commercial nous
- Creative approach to sales and deal making, ensuring that the media ‘fit’ is right for the client
- Ability to generate new business and take money from other media sectors
- A proactive, motivational attitude; good at working autonomously
- Good presentation skills (presenting and writing) to groups of 10 and over
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Enquiring mind with the ability to investigate market information and identify opportunities
- Confident, presentable and friendly – be able to represent the company internally and externally
